Account and passwordless sign-in

Create your account on pinar.dev with your email. A six-digit code expires after ten minutes and locks after five invalid attempts, and a new Free account is created only after the code is confirmed. The extension signs in to an existing account only: if the address has no account yet, it asks you to create one on the Pinar website first. Disposable email providers are blocked for new accounts; custom domains are accepted.

Web sessions last 30 days and authenticated extension devices last 180 days. Codes expire for security.

Open the extension options and stay on the Preferences tab. Choose Remote Server as the storage, enter your email, request a code, and type the code you receive to connect this extension to your account. Any captures from an older anonymous installation move to the account during verification.

Email-code requests show the same result for unknown or blocked addresses, so the form does not reveal whether an account exists. Sign out ends the current extension device session.

• If no email arrives, wait before retrying; codes expire, and too many attempts are delayed.
• Use a current code sent to your email address.
• Use Sign out on the extension Preferences tab, or in the web account menu, when you need the current extension or web session ended immediately.
