AI summaries and credits
Know when credits are reserved, spent, refilled, or refunded.

Summary cost
A session summary reserves 100 AI credits before model inference. On success, the reservation is consumed. A failed or aborted inference refunds it immediately; a reservation left unsettled for more than five minutes is refunded automatically. Summaries allow 10 requests per minute per account and 30 per minute per IP; a duplicate request for the same session waits for the active request to finish.
Balances
Purchased packs add 1,000 credits. Pro’s monthly 200-credit allowance does not roll over. Founder’s 500 credits are an activation balance, not a monthly allowance. The account menu shows the active balance and the next applicable refill date.
Retry summaries with a fresh request id and read the ledger
A summary runs only on a session you own. If one is already in progress, wait for it to finish instead of starting another. Failed or aborted summaries refund the reservation when possible. If the balance is too low, the workspace shows the live remaining credits.
Included monthly credits are used before purchased packs, and the soonest-expiring balance is used first. A purchased 1,000-credit pack lasts up to 12 months. The account menu shows remaining credits and the next refill date for active Pro and Founder accounts. Summaries use the workspace language when it is one of the seven supported languages.
- If a summary is already running on that session, wait for it to finish instead of starting a second one.
- If a reservation expires or is refunded, start a new summary rather than retrying the same request.
- If the workspace shows zero credits, check remaining packs and the next refill date before buying another 1,000-credit offer.
