Quota and add-ons
Free has 250 MB of base cloud storage; Pro and Founder have 5 GB. Optional 5 GB and 20 GB storage add-ons last 12 months, with reminder emails seven days and one day before expiry. Screenshot uploads must be valid PNG files and pass an atomic quota check before storage. Uploads pause when the resulting bytes exceed the current quota.
After entitlement expiry
If an expiring entitlement leaves the account over quota, Pinar grants a 30-day grace period followed by recovery access through day 90. After that, excess data becomes eligible for cleanup. Automatic deletion is not currently enabled, so eligibility is not a promise of immediate deletion.
Fit replacements under quota and use the 90-day recovery clock
Quota is your plan’s included storage plus any still-active add-on. Replacing a larger screenshot with a smaller one can succeed when a brand-new capture would not. Uploads pause once the account is at or above quota, including during grace and recovery.
Free cloud sessions that are not marked permanent become eligible for cleanup after seven days. Pro content above the Free quota follows the 30-day grace and 90-day recovery window after paid eligibility ends. Founder content is not made eligible merely because there is no recurring subscription. Local-only history on this computer is never deleted remotely. Eligibility is not a promise of immediate removal.
- When new captures pause, free space by deleting sessions or replacing a heavy screenshot, or purchase a 5 GB or 20 GB twelve-month add-on.
- If the account is in grace or recovery, export anything you still need before day 90; eligibility only marks overage, it does not itself delete.
- Do not expect uninstalling the desktop app to purge cloud objects, and do not expect the cloud to erase local history on this computer.
